In 2021 I presented at the Appium Conference on how to automate Flutter applications that also deal with native screens. The Flutter ecosystem already provides `flutter_driver`, but that can be limiting in certain scenarios. This talk explores where `flutter_appium_driver` becomes useful by combining Flutter support with the power of Appium. The session is centered around a concrete demo, the supporting code, and guidance on when to use this approach.
